1. Overview

Frame by Frame is a mobile application developed by Lothringer Ltd that allows you to extract still frames from videos stored on your device and create timelapses. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the app and how it is used.

2. Data we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or video content ourselves. All video processing happens entirely on your device — no video files or extracted frames are ever sent to our servers.

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect the following data in order to serve personalised or contextual ads:

  • Advertising identifier (GAID / IDFA)
  • Device information (model, OS version)
  • Approximate location (country/region, derived from IP address)
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can review and adjust your ad personalisation settings at adssettings.google.com.

3. Third-party services

The only third-party service integrated into Frame by Frame is Google AdMob for advertising. No analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or other tracking services are included.

4. Permissions

The app requests access to your device's photo library and storage solely to allow you to select videos and save extracted frames to your gallery. This content is never accessed outside of actions you explicitly initiate within the app.

5. Children's privacy

Frame by Frame is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
